Comfy cosy rooms with pleasant views, and an ironing set, coffee/tea making equipment, and a work desk. Location next to the mountains between the Dordogne, the church and a lake which would be lovely to swim in on a sunny day. 10 minutes walk to Chateau de Lord Davis.

The house, village location, and meals were faultless. Beautiful soft furnishings, spotlessly clean with sanitiser available. Helpful host despite language barrier. Excellent breakfasts and evening meal. l'Aube des Volcans was excellent!

The charming decor and cleanliness of the rooms created a cozy atmosphere. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional breakfast and table d'hôtes, featuring delicious local dishes prepared by Marie-Laure, an amazing cook. I also appreciated the warm welcome extended to all guests, including those with furry companions.
Although there were minor drawbacks, such as smaller beds and occasional noise from church bells, they did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction. The limited availability of the hotel's hot tub was a missed opportunity, but everything else was perfect.

The village was quite peaceful and had traditional buildings. The room was comfortably cool, and the owner was friendly. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi, which was large and relaxing. The dinner was home-cooked with fresh, local ingredients served with other guests, a lovely way to get to know people. The location near a volcanic lake was fascinating and made for a unique experience.
The bed and bathroom were too small for me, making me feel quite cramped. , the hot tub was only open from 4-10 pm, which was not convenient for us.

We recently had a romantic escape at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The comfortable bed was perfect for a good night's sleep and the homemade muffins during breakfast were delicious. Additionally, the location was great for exploring the local area and the art on the walls was unique and interesting.
Despite the cozy atmosphere, the church bells across the road were disruptive to our sleep schedule, so if you're looking for a place to stay for an early night or a lie-in, this may not be the best option. Also, we were disappointed that we weren't able to enjoy a meal at the hotel due to the need to book 24 hours in advance. However, the staff was very helpful and recommended a great restaurant nearby.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with homemade muffins and great coffee. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed sitting at a big table with other guests and chatting. There was some noise from the street that disturbed our sleep a little bit.
